the new Al Qaeda

We took the kids to passport shots. With the new regulations, to keep the terrorist off the planes, the kids are no longer included in parents' passports. Even Olivia has to get a passports of her own. Taking the shot was a pain. How can you tell a 6-month-old to keep the mouth shut, not pursed-up or smiling...

...but here they are, the next Al Qaeda. Do not enter the plane with them - it will crash.

Let's see what the bureau will say. Olivia's mouth should really be shut, for the picture be approved. But it's a five year passport, and I just wonder who's able to recognize her in six months anyway.

This is Joonatan being flushed by great depression for not being able to drag the bobsled as high as he dreamed about. No smile from a tree could cheer him up...

... but well, eventually things cleared out a bit happier mood.

me @ flickr

I opened an account at flickr. It's a community of photographers of all kind - stress on the all kind. If you're into taking, sharing, and chatting about photos and techniques it's worth checking out. It's completely free and build upon different groups of interests, such as nature, night photos, macro, etc, anything you could come up with (and more). You can learn from seeing great photos, and discuss about yours. You may as well keep your photos private and share them with family and friends.

Basically it works so that you reserve server space from the flickr, upload your photos, and post them at any pool of photos. As you are in it, it's actually even simplier than it sounds here.

Once your in, let me know your name to check it out. I'm here.

Olivia turned 6months a week ago. She's a big girl, just about to get crawling. Mainly smiling in the daytimes, mainly staying up in the nights... making it up to a good balance, mainly.

A winter storm locked us up inside, so the brothers spent the day boxing and learning to fly. Here's the biggest air by Joonatan...

...and a good second by Benjamin

doing away with the old

Olivia finished up Sarita's calendar from last year. All of that for a-couple-of-minute-long bliss. Gone for good.

a peek at the future

Happy New Year to all.

A year ago at the turn of the year I remember me anticipating a tough year. I had a feeling that the year (06) is going to be one of the hardest so far, and so it turned out. Nothing like prophesy fulfilled, but my anticipation of how the things I saw in near future would be passing by. It was a double sided time, where we enjoyed great blessings in our family life, but the ministry was a real challenge. However, for the record it must be said that God was there once again and helped us through it all.

Well, that's about the last year, now it's 07 and I'm expecting it to be the greatest adventure. I do not feel this way very often, but I'm really excited to see what'd God's got in store for the coming year. I suppose the adventure will take me into some deep struggles, that will expose my shortcomings in ways that I'm now unable to see, but I also expect to see that during the year God will also do some awesome things within our youth group, the church, and reveal his kingdom in our city in a way I have not previously seen. That happening would certainly make the coming months an adventure, but what I saw last year, makes me believe that he takes care of his plans and stays beside us.

This all may sound like foolish, but just let me share my excitement - for once that I feel it. Let's see what comes.
