a peek at the future

Happy New Year to all.

A year ago at the turn of the year I remember me anticipating a tough year. I had a feeling that the year (06) is going to be one of the hardest so far, and so it turned out. Nothing like prophesy fulfilled, but my anticipation of how the things I saw in near future would be passing by. It was a double sided time, where we enjoyed great blessings in our family life, but the ministry was a real challenge. However, for the record it must be said that God was there once again and helped us through it all.

Well, that's about the last year, now it's 07 and I'm expecting it to be the greatest adventure. I do not feel this way very often, but I'm really excited to see what'd God's got in store for the coming year. I suppose the adventure will take me into some deep struggles, that will expose my shortcomings in ways that I'm now unable to see, but I also expect to see that during the year God will also do some awesome things within our youth group, the church, and reveal his kingdom in our city in a way I have not previously seen. That happening would certainly make the coming months an adventure, but what I saw last year, makes me believe that he takes care of his plans and stays beside us.

This all may sound like foolish, but just let me share my excitement - for once that I feel it. Let's see what comes.
